This is an interesting video I though I would share. One thing is certain. The ZF is a hot commodity!
Lots of changes so I am expecting lots of feedback and people finding issues. Please let me know if you run into any bugs or issues after the big change so I can address them. Also let me know what you would like to see added or removed that would make the user experience better for you. Thanks JT

TOKYO - Nikon Corporation (Nikon) is pleased to announce the release of the NIKKOR Z 35mm f/1.2 S, a fast wide-angle prime lens that is compatible with full-frame/FX-format mirrorless cameras for which the Nikon Z mount has been adopted.
The NIKKOR Z 35mm f/1.2 S is part of the S-Line* series, and realizes outstanding optical performance. It emphasizes the main subjects with soft and beautiful bokeh, and provides realistic expression of textures. Sharing the same design concept as the NIKKOR Z 50mm f/1.2 S and the NIKKOR Z 85mm f/1.2 S, it offers superior rendering capabilities as well as delivering depiction with a sense of depth, even at its wide angle of view.
The optics are constructed by employing three ED glass elements and one aspherical ED glass element, enabling effective aberration reduction. In addition, the application of Meso Amorphous Coat, Nano Crystal Coat, and ARNEO Coat minimizes ghosting and flares, providing outstanding optical performance. The NIKKOR Z 35mm f/1.2 S supports diverse imaging expressions, including portraiture such as weddings, street photography, and video recording.
Nikon will continue to pursue a new dimension in optical performance while meeting users' needs, contributing to the development of imaging culture, with the hope of expanding possibilities for imaging expression.
The long awaited 35mm 1.2 from Nikon is expected to be announced this week. This would create the coveted super fast bokek king trinity from nikon of 35mm, 50mm and 85mm .
Stay tuned for more news as we get closer to the annpouncement.

A big welcome to the Nikon ZF enthusiast on this day 1 of Nikon-ZF.com.
A site dedicated to the true retro camera in today's digital world. We hope you enjoy this site and start posting images captured with your camera. Unlike your typical photo site these days, Nikon-ZF.com is mainly gallery focused with discussions centered on photo comments. However, we do have this cool message board that allows us to post anything we ant to talk about without it becoming an overwhelming forum.
Just like the camera being retro, so is our message board. As soon as we start getting images, they start showing up in the gallery. So don't waste time and start posting now! A little backstory here.
As you may or may now know, I started a very popular website called Rangefinderforum over 20 years ago. It was something I was passionate about and felt it would eventually grow in popularity. Fast forward to today, and that website is one of the most popular niche camera sites on the web. Having said that, I have the same feeling about the ZF series cameras. I am so stoked about this camera. I believe the new ZF is a game changer classic in the making camera which the new generation of younger photographers and old timers have been looking for in a camera. Something that is solid, retro, beautiful and fun to shoot with.
With that in mind, if you are a ZF owner or plan on getting one soon ( I am still waiting for my ZF to arrive ), I encourage you to join www.nikon-zf.com which is a brand new site dedicated to this fantastic new camera. That's how passionate I feel about the ZF. A website just for the ZF series camera! The site is new and has no content. So, get in on the first days of Nikon-ZF and become a charter member. Juts like Rangefinderforum did, I feel www.nikon-zf.com will flourish as well with photographers like you providing content.
You can provide simple links to your profile with nikon-zf.com in the url to make it easy to share on other sites by simply prefixing with your username.
For example http://jt.nikon-zf.com will go directly to my profile page. DO NOT put https in the link as it will not pass the security test and throw a warning.
You can use http which will redirect to https for you.
If you have a dot in your name, then just remove the dot. so a user name with john.doe would just be jondoe When we have more photos from members, we can have it redirect to the member gallery instead.
In the meantime, feel free to update your bio in the dashboard.

Thanks for sharing!
As mentioned in other messages or newsletters. This is not really a forum and the messageboard is somewhat retro where we can post whatever we want and search.
Since I wrote this from scratch, without getting to overloaded with features, what do you think of it and what would you like to see different? Thanks JT
That's right. As photos get uploaded the homepage will get content and the gallery will grow.
So. Don't hesitate to share your ZF images we are all eager to see them.
Alright, we all like to brag and show off our cameras.
This is it. Post an image of your ZF and share with outhers!
I wish that was my ZF. But I am still waiting.
I have similar feelings about the ZF. For me it brings back the joy of photography again. My other cameras are M11 and Nikon film cameras. I regret getting rid of my MP which I loved. But now, If I shoot film it's on an F3T and an F6 which for me has the perfect metering of any camera ever made. I have the 50mm 1.8 Z for it and love it. Although, I love shooting my manual focus glass on it as well. With those two film cameras and my ZF I feel young again :) Who needs Centrum when you have film nikon cameras and and a ZF" 😄
